Each Beantown Handmade product is handmade with high quality machine washable materials. Our products feature unique touches like vintage buttons, hand stitched appliques and crocheted flowers. All of our apparel is designed with the pet's comfort and ease of movement in mind.
We are Anne and Michael, married couple, east coasters, both artists and teachers currently living in the Midwest. We love Bean and we love animals. We hope more and more pets each year can find a safe and loving home like the one we give Bean.
Introducing Lily! We adopted Lily in Spring of 2010 from Nebraska Boston Terrier Rescue. She's five years old and was surrendered with the other pets in the home because of forclosure. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and a great big sister to Bean. We feel so lucky to be her forever home.
Anne started creating handmade sweaters for Bean in order to help him cope with the bitter Nebraska winters. She soon found she loved designing for pets and Beantown Handmade was founded in November of 2008. Her designs put pets' comfort and ease of movement first. She creates stylish and practical apparel that you won't be embarassed to walk your dog in.
