Another Sneak Peak at the Book

Here is another sneak peak at Patterns for Pooches, my crochet and sewing pattern book now available from New Holland Press. I created this new teddy bear hat pattern just for the book. The model is the adorable Archie, sitting on his big sister's bed. He was an awfully good sport and is featured in several of the pattern photos in the book. I created this hat with an organic cotton yarn, so it was almost as soft as Archie.

I was so excited to open up my email and see this adorable face sporting the top hat pattern from my new book, Patterns for Pooches. My very first customer-made piece of fan mail! Buddy!

I was so excited to make a sweater for the adorable Buddy of Silly Buddy fame last fall. His mom and shop owner Hande sent me this cute photo of him staying warm in his high collar sweater and I had to share. Enjoy and I hope you'll also check out the beautiful leashes and collars at Silly Buddy!

Introducing Baby Everett

Introducing the newest member of the Beantown pack - Everett Robert! Born 2/13/13. 8 lbs even and 21 3/4" long. Bean and Lily are doing very well with their new baby brother and have been keeping me company during late night feedings. I'm looking forward to spending time with baby and don't currently have plans about when I'll resume making and selling things for Beantown. For now we are focusing on baby and the release of our upcoming book Patterns for Pooches, coming this May. Here is a sneak preview of the real deal - we just received this preview copy in the mail! Proudly announcing - Beantown, the book! My pattern book Patterns for Pooches is coming in 2013 from New Holland Press! This crochet and sewing pattern book includes for my most popular items. There are also many new items like shark and frog hats, a granny square scarf, leg warmers and several practical sweater patterns designed with your pet's comfort and ease of movement in mind. Bean and Lily are both featured on the cover, and all the models belong to Bean's friends right here in Lincoln, NE. My talented husband Michael helped with all the photography. We are so proud of this book, and I hope that you will all enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!
