Four years of Bean! It's been a blur of dog hats...

Four years ago I made this hat and we photographed six month old Bean in the basement of our 100 year old rental house. The background was brown shipping paper. I told my husband I thought no one would ever buy a dog hat, but maybe people would enjoy the photo and take a look at our shop. I've made over 250 of this style hat in the past four years and over 600 dog hats ;)

I set out with the goal of creating comfortable custom sweaters for dogs like Bean who suffered in our bitter windy winters. I'm happy to say that, partly because of this more impractical hat, I've also been able to create hundreds of sweaters for pups (and hairless cats) all over the world.
